Arnos Vale Cemetery is a 45 acre site, the boundary of which is set out in Appendix 1. The Cemetery is presently held on a licence by Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust from Bristol City Council who will grant a 99 year lease from April 2012.

Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust is a company limited by guarantee (Company No: 627 2084) and Registered Charity (No: 1120210). The Board of ten Directors and Charity Trustees are all volunteers and have a range of backgrounds, skills and interests.
Development Strategy 2011/12Arnos Vale Cemetery is one of the earliest, best and the only known fully restored examples of a Victorian "Arcadian" garden cemetery. Arnos Vale is a national exemplar of how a decaying cemetery can be brought back to its former glory, providing new and exciting ways to engage visitors of all backgrounds and ages with a city's history. It is a hugely significant place for Bristolians which is now managed by Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust and its staff team of seven.
Arnos Vale owes its survival and rebirth to many thousands of individuals and organisations and to the time, money and passion they put into saving this heritage jewel from dereliction.
