Arnos Vale's magnificent and lovingly restored Victorian Anglican Chapel is now a venue destination of choice for those people "in the know". Both the Anglican Chapel and the Spielman Centre are Bristol's best kept secret for venue hire - but that's all about to change!
Tranquil, beautiful, naturally light and airy the Chapel is the most delightful venue. Its neutral colour scheme and simple design makes it suitable for a wide variety of events and functions for any occasion in Bristol.
The acoustics in the Chapel are particularly amazing and ideal for any musical event, rehearsal or performance. You'll be hard pressed to find another venue in this area with acoustics quite as beautiful as the Anglican Chapel. With seating available for up to 106 people, FREE parking, licensed bar and Atrium Cafe this is the ideal venue for your performance or event! Internally the Anglican Chapel is beautifully simple and stylish. The entrance has a grey-stone floor with the main area of the room having intricate tiled flooring through the central aisle with wooden flooring either side. The room is bathed in natural light that floods in from three sides through large yet simple lead windows. This venue is also fully accessible, having an external lift to the front of the building.

More importantly for all musicians and thespians - the acoustics are stunning and ideal for any music or performance with the advantage of having 106 seats with an uninterrupted view of the performance area. We have our own Booking Office for selling and processing tickets and we can help with the promotion and marketing of your event. FREE parking is available on site with further parking that can be organised nearby if required. We also have our fabulous Atrium Cafe which is run by the Bristol Catering Company Whisk! The Atrium Cafe can provide pre-performance meals if required and we are also licensed so you can enjoy a refreshing glass of wine, cider or beer whilst you watch the performances. Don't just take our word for it - here are some events that have been held at Arnos Vale in the past two years: MusiciansPatrick Duff, local musician and performer, popped in one cold October morning in 2011 and asked to try his guitar inside the Chapel to see what the acoustics were like. Within four bars the biggest smile broke out over his face and he fell in love with the acoustics and atmosphere inside. His concert was held during one snowy November evening and tickets were completely sold out! The music, sound, visuals and acoustics were hauntingly beautiful. This venue is perfect for both acoustic and amplified musical performances. Alex Taylor, local musician and performer. Alex is holding a concert at Arnos Vale on 17th November. Alex says "I went to visit the site, I'd taken my guitar along to check out the acoustics in the chapel, and I was blown away with the sound and the vibe you get just standing in the room. So, there and then I knew I'd found the venue for the Bristol leg of the tour. I'm so excited to be playing this gig!"
ChoirsPeople of Note, Gasworks Choir and Free Range Accapella Choir have all performed inside the venue over the past two years. Their performances have been extremely well received and their beautiful voices and harmonies have rung warmly inside, and outside, of the building. The Chapel has also been used as a rehearsal venue for choirs practices and, due to the size inside, it can comfortably hold up to 80 choiristers for rehearsals. The acoustics for voice inside the Chapel are simply beautiful.
