Bats, Birds & Butterflies stone-carving workshop

Half-day workshop to produce a beautiful stone carving!

Join our stonemason at the Underwood Centre for an afternoon introduction to the craft of hand-carving stone.

Inspired by the winged creatures in Arnos Vale and using traditional hand tools and techniques under the guidance of expert artist and stonemason, Tanya Josham, you will carve a wild bird butterfly or bat in stone to take home.

Tea breaks are included in the half-day ticket.

Perfect for all wildlife-lovers and budding sculptors.

This event is physically active so please wear sensible shoes and warm clothes you are happy to get mucky.  Please note that this event requires a minimum number of participants to run.

Tickets are £36 per person.

To reduce our overheads and improve the booking process, we have moved to an on-line booking system for events at Arnos Vale. If you have any problems booking your tickets, please contact us on 0117 971 9117

The centre hosts a wide range of woodland based activities for adults, families, schools and volunteer groups alike, and is available for hire.
