Arnos Vale is a special place that people love, some say it casts a spell. We are an uplifting site of culture, history, nature, well-being and events. We are a 45-acre green space saved by the Bristol community. This is an exciting new role and you will work with the whole team to enrich our future. We’d love to find someone who is as excited as we are by the potential of this place. Could you be the right person to help develop our weddings and events?
What will your days look like?
You will carry out a range of tasks in our weddings and events programme. This could involve helping couples plan their big day and running their wedding, making sure that they have unforgettable experience. You will also be coordinating events including theatre, film, live music, tours and parties. On office days you will providing administrative support for the team. You could be the first port of call, providing excellent, friendly and consistent customer service to our visitors. This is a great role to develop your career in wedding or events.
No two days will be the same. We have 2 indoor venues, one woodland venue and 45 acres of grounds, so challenges and opportunities could take place anywhere. We’re a small team, and we all help across the site.
We’re on the search for a confident, friendly person, someone that loves meeting people and is great at thinking on their feet!
If you have experience working weddings and events – that’s great, if not we’ll provide training and support. We’re looking for an approachable and helpful person who can make our events special.
Our events don’t stop just because it’s the weekend. Many run on evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. You’ll be working outside of the mundane 9-5!
You will always work on a Wednesday and regular weekends, but your shifts are likely to change. These will always be agreed in advance.
