Graves and areas

Arnos Vale Cemetery is a working cemetery that has been serving the people of Bristol for 185 years and wants to continue doing so for years to come, but like most cemeteries, burial space is now limited.

Space for a potential 20 more graves has been identified outside the Anglican Chapel and we plan to use this space to provide traditional burials for the next few years while we explore longer term options to safeguard the future of this important local asset.

Your Funeral Director will liaise with us for availability and will help you with the arrangements. In extenuating circumstances, we may allow the pre-purchase of a grave. Your Funeral Director will usually help you order a headstone, but we can also refer you to a local stonemason if needed.

You can also hold a funeral, reception or wake here. Loved ones may be interred in an existing family plot.
