Our traditional Armistice Day Ceremony will be held at the Great War Memorial in Arnos Vale Cemetery. The ceremony will be led by Reverend Peter Slee, and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the Friends and staff of Arnos Vale Cemetery will be in attendance. Members of the Armed Forces both past and present will also be in attendance.
All members of the public are welcome to attend, and lay a tribute.
The ceremony will begin at 10.45 at the Great War Memorial near the main A4 entrance. Limited parking is available on site. If you require reserved parking or a chair for mobility reasons, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The event site is on a steep slope but the access is step-free.
There will be 2 minutes silence at 11am followed by the wreath laying.
A Commonwealth War Graves Commission Exhibition will also be available to view in the Anglican Crypt all day.
The event will be followed by refreshments in the Spielman Centre.
