Witness Nature’s musical marvel of birdsong
The cemetery is a haven for bird-life and this walk promises a unique aural experience hearing the gorgeous songs of resident and migrant bird species, with tips on their identification led by ecologist Mary Wood.

Arnos Vale Cemetery is a Site of Conservation Interest and a Nature Reserve. It has been a beauty spot since the Georgian Period and is home to a beautiful array of plants, wildlife and trees. Spring sees the site bursting with colour and variety. This walk will take a in various parts of the 45 acre site from grassland to woodland, from managed land to wild spaces.
Visiting: Arnos Vale Cemetery is not a fully accessible site. The tour route includes some steep slopes, steps, and muddy or uneven paths. Warm clothes and sensible shoes are strongly recommended.
