Local choirs performing
After the guided tours on Saturday 14th @12pm and 3pm, two recently formed local choirs will be performing on the steps of the Spielman Centre. Local resident singer and choral director, Anya Szreter, founded the Nightingale Valley Community Choir a year ago and it has gained a reputation as one of Bristol’s friendliest local choirs. The emphasis is on inclusivity, regardless of experience, ability or lack of either! Anya ensures a joy of singing enhanced by learning how to improve your vocal technique while mastering a broad range of light choral repertoire.
Arnos Vocale are also performing. This local choir engages with a more advanced level of singing, the repertoire includes folksong arrangements, jazz standards and beautiful classical pieces from the choral canon.
About the choirs
The Nightingale Valley Community Choir rehearse on Mondays, 7.30-9.
Arnos Vocale rehearse Tuesdays, 8-9.30. For more details contact Anya Szreter on 07720390275 or email Szreter.firstname.lastname@example.org
If you don’t want to join a tour, then just grab a map and go for a wander.
As the cemetery is an independent charity, a donation in one of our boxes or via our website is very welcome.
