Celebrate Day of the Dead and join Viva Los Muertos in making 3 traditional Dia De Los Muertos activities during this workshop:
*Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during these activities.
You are welcome to make all three items.
Viva Los Muertos is Danielle Greenwood, a Bristol artist and musician (ex primary school teacher), whom grew up on the Border of Mexico in El Paso, Texas with all the Mexican traditions. Danielle has exhibited her art across Bristol and helps to create an Ofrenda at Arnos Vale for Dia De Los Muertos.
Dia De Los Muertos is not Halloween. It is a Festival that celebrates the lives of those whom have passed on. It is not to mourn but to celebrate their life through a colourful skull, ornate flowers and fond memories placed on an Ofrenda. This is a Festival of the life of all the dead whom have passed and is a beautiful way to introduce death to children without scaring them. Adults and children are welcome to join this workshop.
