Schools out, but kids still love to learn. During this session your kids will learn practical outdoor skills of fire craft, knife work, den building and wildlife identification in a wonderful woodland setting. They will learn important safety skills in a fun way.
The day will end putting skills to the test with campfire cooking and a feast.
Session is led by Learning Coordinator Janine Marriott.
Adults welcome to stay and join in, or drop off and take a break.
Meeting point is Speilman Centre but all activities will take place in the outdoors in the landscape.
Please note this session is suitable for all genders 7+
Tickets strictly limited, book early to avoid disappointment.
Visiting: Arnos Vale Cemetery is not a fully accessible site. The activities include some steep slopes, steps, and muddy or uneven paths. Wearing warm clothes and sensible shoes is strongly recommended.
Participants must bring a pack lunch and drink. A change of clothes is advised if the weather is inclement. When booking please inform the organizers of any allergies or other issues.
Wheelchair users are welcome but as Arnos Vale cemetery is a listed site, some areas may be less accessible. Please discuss any access requirements before the session via email.
