Are you ready to meet your makers?
The makers of Bristol, that is. Meet some of the celebrated Bristolians, familiar and anonymous, who helped make our city famous.
From railways to reform, manufacture to mining, prisons to philanthropy, business to blitz, we introduce some of those Makers of Bristol from the past two centuries. From humble beginnings to dazzling successes, hear their life stories and the ways in which they’ve shaped Bristol to be the way it is today.
