Featuring the wildest stories featuring the absolute worst women… as well as a few witches, ghosts, demonic possessions and a very wicked woman with a whip. Join local historian Jane Duffus for a spooky evening revelling in the grisliest women from Bristol’s past as we mark the publication of her new book The Women Who Built Bristol: Volume Two. Tonight’s talk features wild women from both volumes of the book.

Jane’s new book contains 250 stories about unfairly forgotten women from our city’s past and, while most of them are good eggs, tonight – for one night only – we share the stories of the murderers, robbers and other ne’er-do-wells. Join us. Witches hats are optional. Copies of the new (and old) book will be available for sale. https://www.janeduffus.com/

Join us for a night tour of the cemetery before or after a talk  and discover some of the graves featured in the stories. Seperate ticket required
