Come and join our expert guide for an informal Saturday afternoon ramble around our lovely cemetery at 1.30pm every Saturday.
This tour will vary from week to week depending on the weather and time of year. The guide will tell you about the cemetery’s past, present and future. They will show you some interesting and unusual symbols and graves, point out some of our more well-known residents and tell you about our buildings and landscape.
The guide will be happy to answer your queries as you go round, and will encourage you to add in any contributions if you wish.
Arnos Vale Cemetery is not a fully accessible site and this tour route may include some steep slopes, steps, and muddy or uneven paths. If you would like further information on accessing the site and buildings please contact firstname.lastname@example.org . Pushchairs, wheelchair users and those with mobility are very welcome but as Arnos Vale cemetery is a listed site please let us know your access needs before booking.
We have limited free parking on site, and cycle racks available. There is an accessible parking space outside each chapel. Further information can be found on our Visiting Arnos Vale page.
You can book in advance, or just turn up on the day and buy your ticket on the day from our shop in the East Lodge. However advanced booking is recommended as tour places are limited.
If the tickets say sold out, there will usually still be some available on the door; please arrive early to obtain these.
Tickets are issued via email upon booking. No need to print them out; you can show them to a team member on your electronic device. But don’t worry we will have a list of ticket holders available.
We regret that we cannot exchange, refund or transfer tickets unless the event in question has been cancelled or rescheduled by Arnos Vale. If the event is cancelled you will be notified by email.
Please meet at the West Lodge at the Bath Road entrance. Your guide will meet you by the ‘Tour starts here’ sign.
Weather appropriate shoes and sensible shoes are strongly recommended.
