A two hour seminar for professional women at any stage in their career to look at the researched differences in how men and women communicate and how this can help or hinder your career. This seminar is suitable for any woman who has ever been mansplained to, interrupted, got an eye roll for asking a question, been generally misunderstood, and not always heard at work. Or you might just be interested in the topic.
The seminar is given by Jane C Woods, author of the international confidence boosting course for women, RenewYou and MD of Changing People, a business dedicated to gender equality. It’s fun and light hearted (and definitely not just a whinge about men) and based on actual research (references/book list given). The second half of the seminar is an opportunity for you to reflect on how the information shared impacts on you on a daily basis and how you can make this knowledge actively advance your career. It’s also a great networking opportunity.
The seminar costs £49.50 and is in the Spielman Centre, next to the cafe. We start at 10 and finish at 12. The cafe is open beforehand for tea/coffee, and Jane will be available from 9.30. Book your place on Eventbrite here
If you like this this you may also be interested in Language tics (body & voice) that could be holding you back at work on Tue 17th April. Women booking both seminars at the same time will receive a bonus follow up one to one coaching session from Jane worth £100.
