We are very much looking forward to hosting our first Wellness Fair here at Arnos Vale – the perfect opportunity to talk to local therapists and learn about natural health and beauty products. Come and meet Leanne to learn more about Forever Living products, Bea and David from Bards of Avalon – passionate about the positive impact of sound therapy on people’s lives, enjoy gluten free cake from Katy’s Cakes and have an Indian Head Massage with Hannah Stuart-Leach. Local hypnotherapist Marie, from Prestige Hypnotherapy will be there to discuss overcoming your fears or phobias or to help you make other positive changes in your life, and the wonderful Karen Marie will be playing her guitar on the Spielman portico. Look Again Photography will be running a taster workshop, and the team from Willow Chiropractic will be on hand to offer advice about posture and lifestyle, as well as giving a free posture screening service using iPads and free exercise demonstrations. Chat to Sarah from Mariposa Coaching about managing your time more effectively, or even how to deal with conflict in relationships positively and Alex from Be Therapies about the benefits of reflexology. Plus look out for the Jump Fit crew bouncing around the site! For more info about their regular classes here at Arnos Vale take a look here
As part of a series of events over our Wellness Weekend you will also find the fabulous Scarlett of the Fae running a Healing with the Body Mirror System workshop, plus Emily Wingrove from RoveYoga hosting a candlelit yoga session and a Bards of Avalon Sound Bath on Friday 18th August. Also, John Irving returns from Devon to offer a mini-workshop to give time for a few Yoga practices, some reflection for future direction and learning… “and a wee break to catch-up too”!
On Saturday night we have the mighty Becky Walsh and her “Stand Up Intuitive Show” – interacting with the audience she answers some of life’s most difficult questions by turning them into a self-help comedy routine. Never mocking, always up beat. Sharing some life changing insights and using science and intuition to show to the audience how brilliant their own brains are (all three of them)
Please note that there will be limited parking on site for visitors. Please use public transport, walk, cycle or find an alternative way of getting here. If you are a Blue Badge holder please email in advance to reserve a parking space. The local streets in Arnos Vale are for resident parking ONLY.
