Yoga for Beginners:  5 week course starts 9th January (ends 6th Feb)

For the body:  yoga develops strength, flexibility and stamina

For the mind:  yoga brings about concentration and clarity of thought

For the emotions:  yoga helps us to withstand the stresses and strains of daily life

For the soul:  yoga creates a relaxed awareness that encourages compassion

Zoë Reason is an experienced and safe practitioner, she’s been teaching since 2004. She trained with, and is insured by, the Iyengar Yoga Association UK.  Her approach is methodical and integrated.  She’s interested in how yoga postures allow us to become intimate with the experience of what it means to be alive so that we can discover what we really REALLY are.

Her teaching is warm, compassionate and accessible.  Her classes are non competitive and deeply inspiring.

Who is this class for?

All are welcome.  Yoga is appropriate for everyone – regardless of age, gender, race, class, educational background.  This class is suitable for anyone who is averagely healthy.

Yoga can be helpful for those with medical issues although some conditions may need more attention than is possible in an introductory class. Please discuss any health concerns with Zoë before coming to class.

If you’re looking for a class with lycra clad gym bunnies with fancy water bottles then this class may not be for you!

£45 for the course  – pay in your second class  (so you know its right for you before you commit to all 5 weeks).

If this feels unaffordable then please get in touch – discretionary and bursary places are available.

Come on an empty stomach.  Please bring a non slip mat and a blanket.
