Yoga for all on Tuesdays, in the Spielman Centre. 12th June – 31st July (8 classes)
First week free to new students, then £12 drop in (6th class free)
Zoë Reason is an experienced and safe practitioner – and she’s been teaching since 2004 (she was trained by and is insured by the Iyengar Yoga Association UK). Her approach is methodical and integrated – she’s interested in exploring how we use our bodies to become embodied. Her teaching is warm, compassionate and accessible. Its not a work out (though you will feel your body has moved) its more of a work IN.
Benefits of yoga:
Physically – you’ll develop strength, stamina and flexibility
Emotionally – yoga helps us to withstand the pushes and pulls of daily life
Intellectually – you’ll concentrate better and see things in sharper focus
Spiritually – yoga is a set of practices designed to develop equanimity and compassion
Who is this class for?
All are welcome. Yoga is appropriate for everyone – regardless of age, race, class, educational background. This class is suitable for anyone who is averagely healthy. It can be helpful for those who have medical issue – though some conditions may need more attention than is possible in an introductory class so please do discuss any issue with Zoë before you book.
If you’re looking for a class with lycra clad gym bunnies with fancy water bottles then perhaps this class isn’t for you!
Bring a non slip mat and a blanket.
