Bristol poets, the IsamBards, will take you on a poetic journey around some of the historic, poignant, beautiful and unforgettable places within Arnos Vale. They will share their original poems inspired by this special place at several stops on the tour. This is a chance to celebrate Arnos Vale in life, death and the rest, with Bristol’s foremost poetic foursome; poets of people and place.
The poetry walk will be accompanied by an Arnos Vale tour guide who will add fascinating facts about the cemetery as the walk progresses. Poetic licence meets historical fact!

About the poets

Deborah Harvey, Pameli Benham, Dominic Fisher and David C Johnson are the IsamBards. They are all published poets in their own right. Their poems have been broadcast on the BBC and abroad. Previous projects have included Brunel’s Bristol, Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Bristol University Botanic Gardens.
