Are you looking start a career outdoors in nature? Then this could be the role for you.

This role is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund for our Rooted in Nature project which aims to:

1. Create new opportunities for people to engage with the site, increasing their skills,
knowledge and understanding of nature conservation, habitat restoration, the effects of
ash dieback, wellbeing and education.
2. Facilitate the clearance phase of extensive areas of Ash Dieback-affected woodland, to
maintain a safe site for visitor access.
3. Contribute towards the long-term recovery and improvement of the woodland and its
sustainable management, expand and conserve existing areas of species-rich grassland,
other habitats and biodiversity.

We're looking for someone who: 

• Has an interest in working outside
• Has a passion for wildlife/conservation and ambition to pursue a career in the land-based sector
• Good time management
• Able to be flexible with working hours and days if necessary
• An interest and enthusiasm for practical outdoor work, throughout the year
