Have you noticed the seasonal changes at Arnos Vale?
April 12, 2019A new garden in Arnos Vale Cemetery for our community
July 3, 2019Arnos Vale Cemetery is a unique and historical site hosting unusual weddings and events throughout the year. We pride ourselves on being different and we’re looking for someone just as unique to join the Arnos Vale family – could you be the right person to assist our events team?
The Duty Manager will be the first port of call at the event, providing excellent, friendly service to our visitors and ensuring all planned events run smoothly. Our events don’t stop just because it’s the weekend; many events run on evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. You’ll be working outside of the mundane 9-5! A flexible can-do attitude is a must.
No two days will be the same. We have 2 indoor venues, one woodland venue and 45 acres of grounds, so challenges and opportunities could take place anywhere. We’re a small team, and we all help out across the site. If you have experience working weddings and events, that’s great, if not we’ll provide training and support. We’re looking for a confident and adaptable person who can give consistently high standards to all our visitors.
The hours available for the duty manager role will vary by month so will suit someone who is looking for occasional work or as a second income within the peak season April – October.
