July 16, 2025We are looking for a Buildings and Facilities Manager to help keep this special place running smoothly and looking its best. You’ll be responsible for the management and ongoing care of our historic buildings and infrastructure—preserving them for future generations and ensuring they remain accessible and welcoming to all.
Arnos Vale Cemetery is unlike any other place. A working cemetery set within 45 acres of stunning urban green space, we combine nature, heritage, and community in a truly unique way. Alongside our core purpose, we welcome thousands of visitors each year through our public engagement programme, income-generating events, venue hire, weddings, and on-site café and shop.
About you
- You’re an experienced facilities or estate manager with a hands-on approach and a passion for heritage and sustainability.
- You're flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy, varied environment.
- You're a team player who’s happy to pitch in and support colleagues across a small, dedicated charity.
- You’re available to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet the needs of our seven-day operation.

Working hours
30 hours per week, working one Sunday in four. Working outside of normal hours, including travel, may be required.
