OPENING TIMES

The gates are open 9am to 5pm every day.

The gates at Arnos Vale are open from 9am every day for you to take a wander on our trails and discover our stunning 45 acre site.  Dogs on leads are more than welcome to visit with you.

The café, gift shop and exhibitions are open from 10am - 4pm every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

The Vistor Centre, West Lodge and Spielman Centre Exhibition and Ceremonial Way are all fully accessible by ramp or lift. The discovery trail is accessible by wheelchair but involves some steep climbs (accessible route shown on trail).  Unfortunately the Crypt Exhibition and themed woodland trails are not currently fully accessible due to the uneven nature of the paths and steps.

GETTING HERE

The Arnos Vale cemetery lies close to Bristol city centre on the A4 Bath road.

  • Arnos Vale Cemetery has some parking on site and can be found following the Postcode BS4 3EW
  • Arnos Vale Cemetery is a green site and we promote the use of public transport.  If arriving by train, the nearest station is Temple Meads, located a mile to the east. Bus services 1, X39, 57, 178 and 349 stop outside the Bath Road gates.
  • Bike racks can be found by our East Lodge and by our café in the Spielman Centre
  • Dogs on Leads are welcome
