Winter Nature-Connection Walk on 18 January 2026

Sunday, 18 January 2026

Ready to feel calmer, more present, and connected with the nature around you?

Join Dr Miriam Ricci, certified wellbeing coach and former sustainability researcher, for a restorative 90-minute Winter Nature-Connection Walk in the beautiful grounds of Arnos Vale Cemetery.

This is your gentle antidote to post-holiday exhaustion and the January blues. After the hectic pace of the festive period, dedicate this time to your personal wellbeing. This is much more than a simple stroll; it's a carefully crafted experience that blends gentle movement, mindfulness, and research-backed practices to help you truly pause, reset and reconnect.

What we'll do: We'll begin with a simple grounding practice to release tension and bring you fully into your body and the present moment. Then, through a silent mindful walk, Miriam will guide you through short, intentional activities designed to help you engage your senses, discover winter's hidden beauty, and reconnect meaningfully with the natural world around you.

Why it works: Research shows that combining movement, mindfulness, and nature connection can reduce anxiety, lift mood, and sharpen focus and mental clarity. This practice also deepens our care for the planet and each other, contributing to both personal, collective and ecological wellbeing.

You'll leave feeling grounded, energised and equipped with practical tools you can weave into your daily life, in any seasons.

Invest 90 minutes in yourself this January and give yourself something genuinely restorative to look forward to.
