Bristol Film Festival at Arnos Vale on 26 August 2026

Wednesday, 26 August 2026

Arnos Vale is delighted to be the venue for Bristol Film Festival’s first ever outdoor screenings, taking place outside our beautiful Spielman Centre.

The Festival will round off the summer in style with two ultimate 1980s classics on the big screen. Audiences can enjoy the evergreen fairy-tale adventure The Princess Bride and Tim Burton’s iconic Batman, featuring Jack Nicholson’s unforgettable performance as The Joker, in this unique and atmospheric setting.

Bringing a touch of nostalgia to this stunning location, Bristol Film Festival invites audiences to experience the magic of cinema under the stars for a very special summer finale.

Please note:

  • This is an outdoor event — guests are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Seating is not provided — guests should bring their own camping chairs, blankets, or other suitable seating.
  • Arnos Vale Cemetery is a historic site and remains an active cemetery today. Visitors are asked to take care when walking around the grounds, particularly after dark, stick to marked pathways, and remain mindful and respectful of the surroundings.
