At Death Cafes we come together to chat about death in a relaxed, safe, social cafe environment.
Our objective is “To increase awareness of the reality of death, so we can enjoy feeling more fully alive“.
The conversations are always new and fresh. Each time we come together the changing mix of people ensures that you can come to any number of events and be guaranteed a vibrantly new and fresh experience each time.
ADMISSION: By donations – whatever you can afford is very welcome
WHERE: Spielman Centre next to the Cafe
Please note that the Death Cafe on Sun 3rd March is part of the Life, Death and the Rest 2019 festival. Please note that due to a large booking in the Anglican Chapel, there will be limited parking on site, however parking will be available at HERE Bristol (just 5 mins walk away)
A DEATH CAFE IS NOT A BEREAVEMENT OR GRIEF COUNSELLING GROUP
This is especially so for people who have experienced a recent and/or traumatic loss or death.
This sustains Death Cafes as comfortable, relaxed, and safe exploratory spaces.
ABOUT THE ORGANISERS:
Mary, Peter and Gwen are the current organisers and assure you of a very warm and friendly welcome.
