Take a tour with a difference and discover the geological treasure trove to be found in many the memorials on site. Learn what makes a good headstone, where different stones come from, and the way the many types of material are used in these grave markers.

Our tour is an introduction to the geology of the gravestones and will include an intro to some geological terms and the materials and their uses.

This event is offered as part of Bristol Walk Fest and is free. We'd really appreciate a donation to support our work protecting and caring for this special place.

Please note: we're not a fully accessible site and the tour route will include steep slopes, steps and muddy or uneven paths.
