Black and Global Majority Woodland Retreat on 18 October 2026

Sunday 18 October 2026, 11am-1pm

Join Jess and Dil for a slow and restorative nature based retreat exploring practices that support us to anchor ourselves into our bodies and connect to the heart as we land in autumn

This is a chance to tap into the power of community and ancient woodlands, exploring with embodied movement, sound, meditation, cacao and rest in the woods at Arnos Vale.

What to Expect:
Gentle walk and Opening ritual
Embodied movement + sound in nature blending yoga, qi gong, and free form movement
Meditation, sound, cacao and ancestral ritual
Nourishing snack and drink
Time to rest, connect, chat as you wish
The majority of the event will take place at the Underwood Centre

This event is queer inclusive and for Black and Global Majority folks only.

Facilitators:
Dil (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary wellbeing facilitator drawing on a range of somatic breath, movement and creative practices to support deep personal and community healing with roots spreading from Sri Lanka to South London.

Jess (She/her) is an energy worker, Maestra, and a forever dedicated student of curanderismo- the ancient practice of traditional healing rooted in Earth-based wisdom. Jess also facilitates a monthly wellbeing group for the POC community- a dedicated space for rest, reflection, and collective healing outside of systemic pressures.
